W.I.French Evening – 16th October
Please note that this has been postponed. It will now be held on Saturday, January 29th next year. An occasion to look forward to after the Christmas festivities.

W.I. Meeting – Tuesday, 19th October
At this meeting, to which all are welcome, the speaker will be David Powell on Reiki Healing. Please come to Chearsley Village Hall at about 2.30pm.

Epilepsy Action Tea Party -Friday October 22nd
This has been postponed until a later date.

Chearsley Cricket Club – End of Season Ball
This will be held on Friday, 12th November at The Spread Eagle Hotel, Thame. Tickets cost £30 each for canapés, dinner and live music. There will be Presentations, raffle and auction. Please contact John Howard on 07970 651326 or email jnh@dbmc.co.uk for more information and to purchase tickets.

Events at The Tea Room
There will be a PartyLite Ladies Night at The Tea Rooms on Wednesday, 20th October, from 7.00 to 9.00pm, when there will be candles, bath and body care available to browse and buy. A glass of wine and nibbles will also be available to make it a fun ladies night out in the village.
The children are not being left out. There will be a Children’s Halloween Party on Sunday 31st October from 2.00 until 4.00pm. Come along in costume to play some games, decorate biscuits and win a prize for the best Halloween picture. The cost will be £2.50 per child. Food and drink will be available at an extra charge.

Future events planned are an Italian Night on Friday 19th November and a Pampered Chef Ladies Night on Wednesday, 24th November. See the blackboard outside the shop for further details and for future planned events.

Recycling Tuesday 19th October
Glass containers, plastics, paper and cans will all be collected on this day.

Congratulations
Hayley Ounsworth, (one time Sunday girl at Chearsley Tea Rooms )and Alex Jenkins were married at Bicester on a very wet Friday 1st October. All the best to them and their son, Charlie for their future together.

Rowena and Alan Parry are delighted to have become Grandparents to their first grandson, Benjamin Henry who was born on Sunday 26th September.

Bingo at The Bell
The Bell was nicely full for the first Eyes Down of the season on Tuesday 5th October, with a top prize of £90. Proceedings were conducted as usual, by Paul and Andy,the now experienced callers, proudly sporting new Chearsley Bingo T shirts and trying out new,bigger and better numbered balls. The next Bingo session will be on Tuesday, November 2nd.
