Chearsley Planning Forum
The next meeting of the Planning Forum will be held in the Village hall on Monday April 30, at 7.30 for 7.45 start, not May 1st as reported last week. The Village Plan will have a major impact on the way our village develops over the next 5, 10 and 20 years. It is vital to get it right, which will only happen if everyone contributes. Please come to this next meeting to hear about progress so far and to add your own ideas and wishes for our village.

Recycling
Boxes for glass, and containers for plastics, paper and cans will all be collected on Tuesday May 1st.

Bingo at The Bell
The next monthly session of Bingo will be on Tuesday May 1st, with Eyes Down about 8.30. Come along for a good evening out, have a meal at a special bingo player price and maybe win some money. The jackpot is often around £60. If more cerebral entertainment appeals, why not come to the next Quiz Night at The Bell which is on Sunday May 6 at 7.30 for 8pm, with sausages at half time to sustain competitors. Reasonably priced, good meals are available most lunchtimes and evenings.

Jubilee Meeting
There will be another meeting to discuss arrangements for the Jubilee in Chearsley in The Bell on Tuesday, April 24 at 7.30pm. Please come along if you would like to help out.

Ron Clark
Ron Clark, of Elm Brook Close, died on April 18 at home after a brave but short battle with cancer of the brain. Ron was married to Dorothy and were a familiar sight walking around the village normally hand in hand since retiring to Chearsley 18 years ago. His funeral will be on Friday April 27 at Amersham Crematorium at 10.45. Sympathies go to Dorothy and his family.
