Mobile Library
This will next be in the village by The Green on Monday September 10 from 12.20 until 12.45pm.

Refuse collection – new system
Remember that Fridays are now our new refuse and recycling collection days, starting September 7 when the small green food bin will be collected as well as the old original green bin containing any non-recyclable rubbish.

Theatre in the Villages
Chearsley Village Hall is very pleased to be a host again this year. Mapp and Lucia Ahoy will be performed on Friday October 19 at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 and are available from me. Telephone number 01844 201893. It seems as if it will prove a very popular play with a good number of tickets already sold. Chearsley is the only venue in Bucks where this is being performed. Posters with more details of Mapp and Lucia Ahoy will soon be on the noticeboard and booklets of all performances in the Theatre in the village scheme will be available from the shop and Pub and delivered round to many households.

Cricket Club 100 Club
There have now been several lucky winners (not me). The draw is made at the end of each month, with a top prize of £30 this last month. More members are still welcome and should get in touch with Louisa on 07738 220842. It is a good way of supporting the Cricket Club and possibly winning yourself a little windfall.

Waddesdon Manor Heritage Open Day on Saturday September 8
There will be free entry to house and gardens on this Family Community and Emergency Services Free Day. A fun filled family day when fire engines, police cars and ambulances will be there for climbing in and inspecting.
