Village News from Margaret Morbey

Please, all of you, let me have your news – special birthdays, celebrations, details of forthcoming coffee mornings, outings etc. I need to have them on the Wednesday before the Bucks Herald is for sale. You can phone or email me. Please don’t hesitate to use this column as a means of communication to everyone in Chearsley and beyond!

Christmas Carols
Carol Singing round the Village raised £260 each for Cystic Fibrosis and Debra.

The Bell
During January and February, Monday to Thursday, The Bell are offering 2 main courses for £10.00. Call in and pick up a leaflet for more information. Come and enjoy your meal in front of a log fire and catch up on village news.

Three Men in Another Boat
If you enjoyed watching this entertaining programme this past week, you may not have realized that its Executive Producer, Gillie Hall, (Gillie Travers) lives in Chearsley. Congratulations, Gillie. Maybe another series could be made using our many experienced Chearsley sailors!

Sadder Note
Two people from Chearsley are currently in hospital. John Miles has been in the Intensive Care Unit at Stoke Mandeville since just before Christmas and Beryl Wright had a serious fall during Christmas. John and Beryl and families - we are thinking of you.
