Don’t Forget to Come and Help at the Litter Pick Thursday March 1st. Meet outside the shop at 9am on Thursday March 1, wearing brightly coloured visible clothing for safety ,and wearing protective gloves. Black sacks provided by AVDC will be supplied. Please come to help tidy up our village.

Rectory Homes Public Exhibition of Planning Proposals at land off Chilton Road All residents are welcome to the Cricket Pavilion this Monday February 26 anytime between 7 to 8.30pm to view a display of the development proposals. Members of Rectory Homes will be available to discuss the proposed scheme and answer any questions. Feedback forms will also be available for villagers’ comments. The closing date for comments to AVDC has now been extended by one week to March 7th.

Defibrillator Training Morning
You may be aware that a Defibrillator has now been installed outside the Bell. Anyone interested in attending a Defibrillator and CPR training session are welcome to contact Keith Turnbull who is hosting a 90 minute session on Saturday March 10 at 10am at his home, Odyssey (next to The Old Vicarage). The session will be run by a representative from South Central Ambulance Service. Currently, there are still 6 places available. Please contact Keith on Keith.Turnbull@k-sera-uk.com. If you are unable to attend this one, it is hoped to run another session on March 24.

Mothers’ Day at The Bell Sunday March 11 
A full menu including Roast Lunches of Pork, Beef and Chicken will be served from 12 to 4pm. Treat your Mother – she deserves it.
