Bank Holiday Monday 6- a -side cricket competition
A very successful day took place,- the first time for three years that the weather had enabled the competition to go ahead, when 8 teams competed throughout the day. Morris Motors were well deserved winners, beating Chearsley in the final. Many supporters enjoyed the sun, the cricket, the barbeque and real ale from the bar. On the day, about £200 was raised for Club funds from refreshments and the raffle. It is anticipated that profits from the bar takings will add to this considerably.
