Chearsley Pub Lunch at The Bell
Over 20 Chearsley residents gathered at The Bell for the second of our pub lunches.  It is proving a good and popular way of meeting up with old friends and neighbours and exchanging news all the while enjoying a good lunch in our lovely pub.  Don’t miss out - the next one will be held on Wednesday 28th July at 12.30pm.  Please contact Ann Hooton on 208306 or Alan Mitchener on 208893 to book and place and choose your meal.

Flowers on The Green
The run up to The Flora and Fauna Fayre made a splendid start on Sunday 20th with several giant flowers being planted on The Green around Chuf’s willow tree.  Congratulations to all the children and parents who took part, particularly to the winners, the Giss girls of Watts Green with their innovative balloon flower.

New Baby
Congratulations on the birth of another Heybrook grandchild.  Laura and Ian Skinner now have a daughter, a sister for Henry and Freddie.

Mobile Library – Monday 5th July
This will be on The Green on Monday 5th July. Please note the changed time of 12.20 until 12.45.

Chearsley Show – September 4th
Show entry forms should have been delivered to you.  Please note and consider entering into the hanging basket competition. Judging takes place in the week beginning 19th July. Entry forms for this are available from Chearsley Shop or Rosemary Wallis of Merrifield, Dark Lane.

Midsummer Madness with Chearsley Cricket Club
Remember to buy your tickets :  for  Saturday July 10th, the Cricket Club  hog roast and local band Hair of the Dog in The Bell garden. Tickets are £10 each available from The Tearooms and The Bell. All money raised will go towards the development and improvement of the Club’s facilities.  Please contact John Howard on 208036 for more information.

Chearsley’s Festival  of Flowers - Saturday and Sunday 10th and 11th July at St Nicholas Church

This is a new event for Chearsley and should prove a beautiful sight as Chearsley is fortunate to have several talented and artistic flower arrangers. Don’t miss it. Refreshments will be available.
