Members of the Aylesbury Town Neighbourhood Policing Team, in partnership with Halfords Auto Centre, will be in Tesco, Broadfields Car Park, Aylesbury, fitting anti-tamper number plate screws to vehicles on:-
Saturday 14 April, between 10am and 2pm.
This FREE service only takes a few minutes and can help prevent your vehicle number plates from being stolen and used in crime.
Criminals use stolen number plates to disguise the identity of their vehicle, so that it can be used in crime, such as making off without payment from garages, burglaries and to avoid congestion charging etc.
Member of the team will also be available to give crime prevention advice or to discuss any issues you may have.
