W.I. Trip to Snowshill Manor and Garden
There are a few places still available on a coach trip leaving Chearsley on Thursday July 19 to Snowshill Manor, a National Trust property in the Cotswolds, set in hillside gardens “a fanciful world filled with unlikely treasures”. Please phone Jann Grimshaw on 01844 202630 for more information.

Ferret Racing at Chearsley Cricket Club
Back by popular demand is a Family Afternoon out at the Cricket Club on Sunday July 29. Entry is free for everyone and all are welcome. Gates are open at 12.00pm with the first of 6 ferret race starting at 1.30pm. There will be on course betting facilities. The bar will be open from 12, serving real ales. Perhaps by then the sun will be shining and it will be a great day to enjoy the barbeque, bouncy castle for the children and an opportunity to meet and stroke the ferrets, and maybe back the winning ferret. Please contact Sonia Timberlake on 01844 208959 or email soniat@fsmail.net for more information.
