Chearsley Show
A reminder that the annual village Show will be held on Saturday September 1 in the village hall. Information including entry forms have been circulated round the village. If you have lost yours or not received one, please let me know. The show is a light-hearted event, with a little bit of competition as to whose entry is awarded first, second or third place, and a chance to come together to view the exhibits, whether or not you decide to enter. It is a very family orientated occasion with more and more children entering each year in the children’s classes. There is a lot of behind the scenes organizing, so please consider entering, to make it all the more worthwhile for all the effort put in. The deadline for submitting entries is Tuesday August 28.
Pilates
Weekly evening classes in Chearsley village hall have been running very successfully for several years. There are a few places available when they re-start in September. Please contact Debbie for more information on 01844 208420
Parish Council Meeting
There will be no meeting in August. The next meeting will be on September 17 at 7.30pm in the village hall, when all villagers are welcome to attend.
