Remembrance Sunday November 8
Sue Grimsdell is walking the village selling poppies again this year. You could be prepared and have some money ready for when she calls. This is her 17th year having taken over then from Sylvia Hicks. If you miss her, poppies are on sale in the shop and in The Bell. There will be a Service of Morning Celebration at St Nicholas Church at 10am followed by a service led by John Scholefield at The War Memorial at 10.45am to which everyone is invited to attend. Refreshments will be available afterwards in the village hall.

Best Wishes to Jan Benskin of Elmbrook Close who is taking life a little easier after an unexpected visit to and treatment in hospital.
