Sunday 6th December is St Nicholas’ day.
St Nicholas is patron saint of children, sailors and many others as well as being the patron saint of our parish. This year the celebrations will begin with a combined parishes Sung Communion Service with choir at 10am at Nether Winchendon, whose church is also dedicated to St Nicholas.
In the afternoon there will be our Christingle Service starting at 4pm here in Chearsley (see separate notices for further details)
Starting at 5pm, after the service, there will then be a full peal attempt on the bells at Chearsley which, if successful, should finish just before 8pm.
