During the litter-pick on Friday morning, the body of a tomcat was found in a gully off the Chilton Road. Bizarrely, the cat had been put in a freezer bag and it is likely that it had been lying there for a few days. It was a tabby cat, with white face and paws.
The bag was delivered to the local RSPCA (Blackberry Farm Animal Centre, Quainton – 0300 123 0752 or blackberryfarm@rspca.org.uk).
The cat was not ‘microchipped’ and the RSPCA will keep the body in storage for a further seven days before disposing of it.
