This is the final Village News of the Year as Christmas is nearly upon us with a reminder of The Bell and the shop opening hours which might be helpful to know.

Christmas Eve 12 to 4 (Food 12 to 3) and 6pm until late (No food)
Christmas Day 12 to 3 (Drinks only) Closed in the evening
Boxing Day 12 to 4 (Food 12 to 3) Closed in the evening

St Nicholas:
Christmas Eve Crib Service at 3.30pm and Midnight Communion at 11pm
Christmas Day Christmas Praise at 10am
New Year’s Eve Benefice Service at 10am in Long Crendon
The next bin collection will be just a day later than usual on Thursday December 28 when the recycling bins will be collected. Next week, it will be back to the usual Wednesday collecting day on January 3.
Carol Singing round the village £660 has been raised this Christmas from the carol singers who managed to get round to most of the village on 2 nights and a collection at the Lighting of The Tree evening. This will be divided between the charities for Cystic Fibrosis and Debra. Well done to the carol singers and everyone who donated.
