Litter Pick 2019

We salute this year’s team of Chearsley ‘litter pickers’ – Annie Bradley, Brian & Ineta Green, Cynthia Siddall, Jim & Nikki Harrison, John & Alicia Howard, Julian George, Kevin Dennington, Mick Campbell, Nicola Reynolds, Peter Allen, Susie Heybrook and Thia Richards

The above collected over 20 sacks of litter from Chearsley’s lanes and approach roads and this year’s ‘trophies’ included three tyres, assorted road signs, a cupboard door, a toilet cistern and a shedload of beer cans.

 Many thanks also to Sharon and Linda at The Bell who served a welcoming cup of tea and a selection of extremely naughty cakes to the ‘team’ after their morning’s work

….and no thanks whatsoever to the miserable so and so’s who unfailingly dump their litter on the roads approaching our village year after year.
