Chearsley Village Show - Sat Sept 2 @Village Hall

Thanks to those who have already entered the revived Chearsley Village Show.

It's going to be a great day!

We have had several people get in touch to say they are away, so we are pleased to announce the deadline for entering has been extended to midday Friday September 1st.

The Show has run for many years but due to COVID and key members of the committee deciding not to continue, the last one was held in 2019.    But this year it is back!

Please support this traditional community event.  Whether you are new to the village or lived here for years, all are welcome.
Even if you do not want to enter yourself, please come along on the day.

If you would like to enter, you will need to refer to the programme which provides all the details.  A copy is here:

Roadworks - Church Lane & Aylesbury Road

 1.  Church Lane - delays

The Parish Council is having kerbing installed in Church Lane between 11 and 14 September

The Lane will not be closed and the contractors will manage traffic with either traffic lights or stop/go boards. Please be prepared for short delays.

2.  Aylesbury Road - road closed by the Old Vicarage to/from Cuddington

We have been advised by Thames Water of works in Aylesbury Road that will require a road closure to be put in place between 16 October and 24 November

This is to enable replacement of the previously burst water mains in the area.  They will be replacing the previously burst pipes with polyethylene pipes so they will be more durable and last longer.
Details of the works location and the traffic management plans showing the diversion routes are here

Chearsley Longhorn beef

 Chearsley Longhorn beef

I am collecting a batch of my delicious grass-fed beeftomorrow. I’ll have steaks and joints etc. The perfect fast food - it’s easy to put on the grill, barbecue or pop in the oven and it’s packed with essential nutrients that you simply don’t get from beef that is finished on grain or grazed on monocultures.

Our fields are filled with lots of different plants and wild herbs. This creates healthy soil with a healthy micro biome that in turn provides essential bioavailable nutrients to the plants and animals feeding on it and of course it makes the meat more flavoursome.

Please visit www.rosedalesorganicfarm.com to order or email me and come round to collect.
Thank you,
Rose Dale
