“We’ve recently been contacted by Paul Miles, the son of John & Pat Miles, who lived at Fairview Cottage (Bernards Close) until a few years ago. His mother, Pat, was a very close friend of Helen Sampson, who lived at Byeways Cottage on The Green, until her death in 1976.
Helen was a well-known artist and Paul recently became aware of some of Helen’s artworks among his mother’s possessions and is keen to trace any of her relations to whom he can pass them over.
