Christmas Wreath Workshop

By popular demand, Virginie Bonvalet will again be holding a Christmas Wreath Workshop at St Nicholas Church, Nether Winchendon on Saturday 16th November 2pm to 4.30pm.

 Proceeds will go to help fund some of the essential restoration work in the Church. 

 The afternoon will consist of: 

• Virginie demonstrating how to create a festive wreath for your front door

• Virginie will give help and suggestions
• The Church will be candlelit and there will be festive music and refreshments
• There are enough places for 16 people so please book by replying to Jenny at jennysclarke@gmail.com to reserve your place. 

Cost of the workshop will be £55.00 allowing for purchase of greenery and flowers.  

 All material will be provided but please bring your own secateurs and do wrap up well. 

 If you would like to bring your own additional greenery and decorations please do.

Helen Sampson - Family Search

“We’ve recently been contacted by Paul Miles, the son of John & Pat Miles, who lived at Fairview Cottage (Bernards Close) until a few years ago. His mother, Pat, was a very close friend of Helen Sampson, who lived at Byeways Cottage on The Green, until her death in 1976.

Helen was a well-known artist and Paul recently became aware of some of Helen’s artworks among his mother’s possessions and is keen to trace any of her relations to whom he can pass them over.
