Christmas Bingo at The Bell was a very ho ho ho, jolly evening with plenty of prizes and special gifts from Santa’s sack. There was a great Christmas gift for one lucky winner who won the Snowball game of £155. Many thanks must go to our cheerful callers, Leslie and Sharon who make a valiant effort each month to keep all Bingo players under control. Special mention should be made of Beryl Toop who with her sister, Shirley donated a hamper full of Christmas goodies to raise over £100 on the night for the Bell Charity Bottle, which is raising money for Parkinsons. Well done and thank you to Beryl and Shirley. The next Bingo evening will be January 8th.

Not Quite 12th Night
The organisers of this event planned for Friday January 4 are sorry to have decided that it will no longer be taking place.

AVDC Design Awards 2018
Although Chearsley Village Hall was shortlisted for consideration in these awards, it won no prize. The Best Public Building was awarded to Beachborough School, at Westbury. Nearby Dinton Castle or Folly won the prize in the Best Restoration section and Outstanding Design was awarded to 43 High Street, Long Crendon.

Alterations to Bin Collections after Christmas
