With new Trustees and a revised Trust Deed, we are delighted to announce that the Chearsley Village Trust is live again after a 10-year absence.
The objectives of the Trust are spelled out in detail in the Trust Deed, which is available here.
In broad terms the Trust is established to provide financial assistance to individuals or groups connected with Chearsley for activities including: the advancement of citizenship; community development; amateur sport; the arts;culture; heritage; science; for the protection or improvement of the environment; and of course to help those in need.
The Trustees now invite applications from qualifying individuals or groups for a grant towards the cost of their project or activity.
We encourage all applications to be made using the application form that is accessible on the new Trust website at http://www.chearsleyvillagetrust.org.uk.
Paper copies of the form will be available in the Village Store and The Bell for applicants without access to the internet.
The website has all the details required to make an application. It will also provide details of all grants made and other information about the Trust.
The Trust will meet every April and October to consider applications.
The closing date for applications for the next meeting will be Monday 25 April 2022.
