Chearsley Village Plan
It might seem that things have gone quiet lately about the Village Plan, but meetings, discussions and ideas in the various topic groups have been taking place over the past few months by some of the villagers who were prepared to get involved under the chairmanship of John Lewis. It is hoped that an interim document can very soon be put together and an Open meeting arranged around the middle of October for all the village to attend. Imput from as many villagers as possible is still very much at the forefront of the Plan. The Plan is being formulated for how the village (everyone) wants Chearsley to be in 10 or 20 years time and for some of the ideas now being discussed to be able to happen. Any interest and involvement in any of the topic groups is still very much welcome. All details are available to view on the website Chearsley.com under the planning forum link. This now has an easy link from the tab above to keep you up to date with all services and events, including the Harvest Supper on Saturday September 22 and Harvest Service on Sunday September 23.

Chearsley Cricket Club - Chairmen’s XI Challenge Match on Bank Holiday Sunday August 26
Players of all ages, abilities, gender and experience are desperately needed to support Peter Crook and Ian Houseman who are challenging the younger cricket players to a match taking place on Bank Holiday Sunday at the Cricket Club. Please get in touch with Peter on 01844 202487 if you would like to play.
On the more serious side of the Club, support from the village is always needed and their next game at the Club will be on Saturday, August 11 when the 1st XI play Shipton (not Dinton as previously stated).

Recycling and bin collection

All recycling baskets including the boxes for bottles and glass will next be collected on Tuesday August 21
