Help for Heroes - Curry Night!

The Curry Night at Chearsley Village Tea Room & Stores in aid of Help for Heroes, held on June 5th, was a roaring success. A grand sum of 1,063.00 pounds was raised through dinner tickets, a raffle, donations and sales of wrist bands. Everyone enjoyed a delicious curry dinner and the room was buzzing with conversation and laughter as neighbours and friends came together to support this important, but often overlooked charity.

Wrist bands are still available at Chearsley shop if anyone still wants one and are available for 2 pounds each.

Janine would like to thank all who supported this fund-raising evening by donating raffle prizes or simply handing over their hard earned cash in these difficult times. Thanks and praise especially go to the staff who donated their time to make this event such a success.
