Work is due to begin on Monday 2nd November to resurface the cul-de-sac towards the bottom of Lower Green Lane, leading to Pollards, Wynberg, Amberley and Orchard House.
The work is expected to take about a week and the contractors, John Lee Construction Ltd. have assured us that disruption to traffic in the lane will be kept to a minimum. There will inevitably be periods when lorries are loading and unloading but from the work done so far in laying a new culvert, they seem very pleasant and approachable workers.
We certainly hope you have no problems, the drive is in a very dangerous state at present and it is essential that the work is carried out.
