Village Hall Update

The build is now well over half way and a topping out ceremony (apparently a building tradition) was held before Christmas to celebrate the near completion of the beautiful new slate roof.

Members of the Village Hall Committee and Parish Council bravely climbed up the scaffolding and cracked open a bottle of fizz.  Chearsley's very own resident photographer Sharon Sampson snapped away and we are grateful to her for some fantastic photos of us all!

The cedar cladding has also started to be fixed to the timber structure and meetings will be held in the New Year with our kitchen supplier and to decide the flooring, paint colours for the walls and colour of the Movawall (which is the partition wall in the middle of the hall).

If you would like to book the hall for an event, meeting or provide an exercise class - an electronic booking system will be open in March for bookings. A Grand Opening will be held after Easter and more details will follow in due course.

With best wishes for a Happy Christmas and New Year!
