Skittle struggled home on Sunday afternoon with a very damaged leg and was taken straight to the vet. They think she was hit by a car and has some nerve damage but hopefully only bruising. Hopefully she will be back soon.
Given some of the community speedwatch sessions last week have recorded speeds of 53 mph in our clearly marked 30 mph zones, it is not surprising that pets and villagers are being put in harms way by such inconsiderate driving. The Parish Council continues to review measures for this working with BCC.
