Roadworks

The Crendon Chearsley roadworks are scheduled to be finished today (Friday 17/7) but there is always the possibility of overrun into next week. As ever the PC will try and flag any changes next Monday via WhatsApp, Facebook etc.

Commercial Vehicle Survey – more volunteers needed

The Parish Council’s Commercial Vehicle Survey is all set to take place during next Thursday (23rd July) but, despite many volunteering to help, there are still a few vacant time slots to be filled, to ensure that all vehicles are properly tracked through the whole survey period -  from 8am in the morning to 6pm in the evening.

The day will be divided into two hour ‘slots’ through the day and the task will be to record the entry and exit roads used by all vehicles travelling through the village.

The results of the survey will provide vital documentation for the PC discussions with all parties in working to minimise the number of HGV journeys through the village in the years ahead.

If you are available to help on 23rd July, please advise John Howard by email – jnh@dbmc.co.uk

A more detailed briefing will be provided before the day itself, including all relevant advice on ‘social distancing’.
