I hope by now you will have heard of the Chearsley Camp which will take place at the bottom of Lower Green Lane on Saturday and Sunday 22nd and 23rd May, by kind invitation of the owners of the field. It will be a wonderful community event and a great chance to get to know other villagers. We will also be trying to raise a little bit of money for the great charity www.habitatforhumanity.org.uk which helps people to escape from poverty housing around the world. (Not the charity Toybox as previously advertised).
We have lots of exciting things planned including of course a campfire, but also a village trail, rounders match, gunging, fish and chip lunch, and an it's-a-knockout competition.
