The W.I. would like to thank everyone who came and bought Christmas goodies from their stall on Saturday 3rd December.
Christmas Bingo at The Bell
Who would have imagined that Paul, the Bell’s regular Bingo caller could have been transformed into an amazing Mrs. Christmas, complete with fishnet tights and high heel boots, blonde wig and very fetching red lipstick? He and Father Christmas ensured the success of this Christmas bingo for the crowded Pub, all eager to go home with a prize and a special present from Santa’s sack. The lucky winner of the final full house of the night received over £100. The raffle made £42 for the Eye Scanner Appeal. Next month’s Bingo will be on Tuesday January 10.

Christmas Wedding
Jessica Puttick, daughter of Louise and Nick of Dark Lane will marry David Williams on Sunday December 18. All good wishes to the Puttick family for a very happy day and to Jessica and David for their future together.
Recycling
Bins only will be collected on Tuesday December 20. The next collection will be on Wednesday Jan 4 together with recycling baskets for paper, cans and plastics.
