The Parish Council is keen to help our community where it can.
We therefore plan to launch a ‘Chearsley Business Directory’ in the near future, which will be published on the Parish Council website and Chearsley BlogSpot.
It will comprise details of businesses in Chearsley and a message to encourage our residents to look for a supplier of goods and services within our own community as well as looking further afield.
The information to be listed in the directory will include company name and contact details, as well as a description of the goods or services provided.
For a business to be listed in our Chearsley Business Directory, it must fall into at least one of the following three categories:
- Business owned by a Chearsley resident
- Business operated by a Chearsley resident
- Business located in Chearsley village
Some typical examples of businesses appearing in our list might be as follows:
- Accountancy services and book-keeping
- Art, design and printing services
- Cars – e.g. car cleaning, auto repairs
- Childcare e.g. babysitting, child-minding
- Computer and IT services
- Domestic services e.g. house cleaning, window cleaning, pest control
- Food & drink e.g. pub, village shop, online deliveries
- Gardening services e.g. grass-cutting, garden upkeep, landscaping
- Health & wellbeing e.g. fitness classes
- Household services e.g. building, electrical, plumbing, painting & decorating
- Personal e.g. hairdressing, manicure, pedicure
- Pets – dog walking, dog grooming, dog minding
- Photographic services
….and more besides
We would therefore invite any Chearsley residents, who own or operate a business supplying any goods or services to the village, and would like to be included in our directory, to provide all the necessary information, by completing the form on this link.
